Emergency or crisis: If you are experiencing an emergency, safety issue, medical crisis, mental health crisis, or risk of harm, contact emergency services or a qualified crisis support line immediately.
5

Eligibility and Authority

You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your location to purchase services or enter into a membership. By using our services, you represent that you have the legal authority to do so.

If you use our services on behalf of a business, organization, family member, or another person, you represent that you have authority to request support and provide information for that person or organization.

6

Accounts, Passwords, and Security

For safety and privacy, do not send passwords, PINs, one-time codes, full card numbers, bank login information, Social Security numbers, private identification documents, or other sensitive data through regular email, text, or unsecured messages.

Some tasks may require you to log in yourself, share your screen, complete verification, approve a transaction, sign a document, make a payment, or confirm identity directly with a third party. We may guide you, but you remain responsible for what you submit, approve, sign, pay, or authorize.

We may refuse any request that requires us to impersonate you, bypass security, access an account without permission, handle restricted personal data in an unsafe way, or perform actions that could violate law, platform rules, or third-party terms.

7

Appointments, Scheduling, and Rescheduling

Appointments may be booked through our calendar, website, payment links, email, text, or other scheduling tools. Your appointment time is not guaranteed until confirmed.

Please arrive on time and bring the information needed for your request. If you are late, the session may still end at the scheduled time. If we are late or need to reschedule, we will make reasonable efforts to provide a new appointment time.

We may set rescheduling, no-show, late cancellation, and booking rules on specific calendar pages or checkout pages. Those rules apply to that appointment in addition to these Terms.

8

Membership Plans and Monthly Hours

Memberships provide a monthly allotment of concierge support hours for eligible tasks. Hours are tracked based on time spent communicating, researching, drafting, reviewing, organizing, setting up, following up, planning, or otherwise working on your approved requests.

Membership TypeMonthly HoursCommon Use
Personal Starter4 hoursLight recurring personal and life-admin help.
Personal Plus8 hoursConsistent monthly personal support.
Personal Premier16 hoursHigher-touch personal support.
Business Growth4 hoursLight recurring business support.
Business Pro8 hoursConsistent monthly business support.
Business Executive16 hoursHigher-touch business support.

Unused monthly hours do not roll over unless a written agreement or checkout page specifically says they do. Membership hours have no cash value, are not redeemable for cash, and may not be transferred to another person or business without our written approval.

If a request is larger than your remaining monthly hours, we may pause work, ask you to purchase additional time, recommend a higher plan, or schedule the remaining work for a future billing period.

9

Payments, Billing, and Recurring Charges

Prices are shown at checkout or on your invoice. By purchasing a one-time service, you authorize the listed one-time charge. By purchasing a membership or subscription, you authorize recurring charges at the stated price and billing frequency until cancelled according to these Terms and the checkout agreement.

Payment processing may be handled by third-party payment providers. We do not control all payment processing delays, bank authorizations, card failures, or platform issues.

If a payment fails, we may pause services, cancel appointments, suspend your membership, retry the payment, request updated billing information, or end your membership. You are responsible for keeping payment information current.

Recurring billing notice: Memberships are monthly recurring services. You are responsible for reviewing the plan, price, billing date, cancellation process, and included hours before purchasing.
10

Cancellation of Appointments and Memberships

You may cancel a one-time appointment according to the cancellation rules shown on the calendar confirmation, checkout page, invoice, or written agreement for that service.

You may request membership cancellation by using any cancellation option shown in your checkout, customer portal, payment platform, written agreement, or by emailing [email protected]. To avoid future billing, cancellation should be submitted before your next renewal date.

Cancellation stops future membership renewals. Unless required by law or stated in writing, cancellation does not automatically refund the current billing period, previously used hours, completed work, payment processing fees, or third-party costs.

We may cancel, refuse, or suspend service if a request violates these Terms, creates a safety or legal concern, involves abusive conduct, requires work outside our scope, involves nonpayment, or requires support we cannot reasonably provide.

11

Refunds and Credits

Unless a checkout page, invoice, calendar page, or written agreement states otherwise, fees for completed appointments, started work, used membership hours, digital products, and third-party costs are non-refundable.

If we determine that a request is not a good fit before work begins, we may offer a refund, credit, reschedule, or alternative recommendation at our discretion.

Any courtesy credit, discount, refund, reschedule, or exception we provide once does not require us to provide the same exception in the future.

12

Your Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and timely information. You are responsible for reviewing all work, drafts, forms, emails, messages, research, plans, recommendations, and deliverables before using, sending, submitting, signing, relying on, or approving them.

You are responsible for final decisions, approvals, payments, submissions, account changes, government filings, business decisions, customer communications, and any actions taken based on our support.

You agree not to ask us to commit fraud, misrepresent information, forge signatures, impersonate you, hide material facts, violate third-party rules, engage in harassment, or participate in unlawful or unsafe activity.

13

Requests We May Refuse

We may refuse or stop work on any request, including requests that involve:

  • Illegal, deceptive, fraudulent, harmful, abusive, threatening, harassing, exploitative, or unsafe activity.
  • Impersonation, forged signatures, fake reviews, false statements, evasion of account security, or unauthorized account access.
  • Handling restricted or sensitive information in a way we believe is unsafe or inappropriate.
  • Licensed professional advice or regulated services outside our scope.
  • Emergency, crisis, medical, legal, or mental health needs that should be handled by qualified professionals.
  • Tasks that require in-person support, travel, physical labor, delivery, pickup, inspection, repair, or hands-on service unless we separately agree in writing.
14

Third-Party Services, Products, and Costs

Some tasks involve third-party websites, software, subscriptions, apps, marketplaces, payment processors, government agencies, contractors, delivery services, shipping companies, advertisers, printers, professionals, or vendors.

Third-party costs are separate from our service fees unless we state otherwise in writing. You are responsible for reviewing and accepting third-party terms, fees, policies, privacy practices, cancellation rules, subscriptions, and charges.

We are not responsible for third-party outages, errors, denials, delays, changes, fees, refunds, customer service decisions, account closures, platform rules, or service quality.

15

Communications by Email, Text, Phone, and Online Tools

By providing contact information, you authorize us to contact you about appointments, purchases, services, membership support, billing, task updates, forms, reminders, and related business purposes.

Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of non-essential marketing messages where required, but we may still send service-related communications needed to complete your request or manage your account.

We may use third-party tools for scheduling, payment, email, text, forms, video calls, customer management, file collection, and service delivery.

16

Privacy and Information Handling

We collect and use information needed to provide services, communicate with you, process payments, manage appointments, complete tasks, improve services, and comply with business obligations.

Because many concierge tasks involve personal or business information, you should only share what is necessary for the task. Do not send highly sensitive information unless we specifically request it through an appropriate method.

If a separate Privacy Policy is posted on our website, that Privacy Policy also applies to your use of our website and services.

17

Website Content and Intellectual Property

Our website, brand names, logos, mascot, graphics, page designs, service descriptions, templates, guides, prompts, written materials, workflows, and other content are owned by us or our licensors unless otherwise stated.

You may not copy, resell, reproduce, distribute, scrape, rebrand, or commercially exploit our content without our written permission.

You retain ownership of information, files, photos, documents, business materials, and content you provide to us, subject to the rights you give us to perform the requested services.

18

Drafts, Research, and Deliverables

Deliverables may include drafts, summaries, checklists, research notes, forms, templates, messages, business ideas, organizational plans, content drafts, or other work product.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, deliverables are provided for your personal or internal business use. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, verifying, and approving deliverables before use.

Research may be based on available public information, information you provide, third-party websites, platform content, or other sources. Information can change, and we do not guarantee that third-party information will remain accurate, available, or complete.

19

No Guarantees

We work to provide helpful, practical support, but we do not guarantee any specific outcome, result, approval, refund, sale, ranking, response, customer conversion, platform decision, government decision, credit outcome, medical outcome, legal outcome, or financial result.

Services are provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted website access, error-free software, availability of third-party tools, or that every requested task will be accepted.

20

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, I Know A Guy In... and its owners, team members, contractors, affiliates, vendors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, missed deadlines, third-party fees, or lost opportunities.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim related to services will not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim during the three months before the claim arose.

Some laws do not allow certain limitations, so some limits may not apply to you.

21

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless I Know A Guy In... and its owners, team members, contractors, affiliates, vendors, and service providers from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of services, violation of these Terms, information you provide, instructions you give, content you submit, third-party disputes, or actions you take based on our support.

22

Disputes and Governing Law

Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact us at [email protected] and give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue informally.

Unless a different written agreement applies, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Florida unless applicable law requires otherwise.

23

Changes to Services and Terms

We may update services, pricing, plans, policies, website content, or these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be posted with a new “Last updated” date.

Your continued use of the website or services after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms. Material changes to recurring membership pricing or included services may be communicated through email, checkout, customer portal, invoice, or other reasonable notice where required.
